The Coquillette family established in the early 1930 when Stephan's grandmother was selling Champagne under the name “Pierre Coquillette et Saint Charmant”. In this family children don’t inherit but they create their own domain.

Stephan's father established in 1951 under the name “Champagne Saint Charmant”.

When Stéphane decided to become also a vigneron, he had to follow the same « family tradition » and build his own domain.

 

He started in 1979, first by renting a few vineyards and selling the grapes. It took him 14 years to gather the vines he owns today. Then it took him 7 more years to find the right buildings and establish.

It has been ten years now that he’s selling under his own label and it is really his own label as he designed each and every one of them.

 

The dedication to his work, his perfectionism and his passion shows into the elegance, freshness and finesse of his Champagnes.
